An experiential RPG linking in-game gender dynamics to real-world structures. The player advances as a female protagonist, enduring words while battling monsters — a reflection on values that oppress women, men, and sexual minorities alike. Built with Unreal Engine and projection mapping.

藤嶋咲子は、アート×ゲーム×社会問題を核に据えた表現を展開するアーティスト。二次元と三次元、フィジカルとデジタル、生物と無生物といった境界を曖昧にしながら、絵画やインタラクティブなデジタル作品を発表している。

代表的なプロジェクトに「バーチャルデモ」がある。これは、インターネットを活用し、多様な声を瞬時に集めて可視化する試みである。BLM運動や東京オリンピック再延期の要請を例に、物理的な場所に集まれない状況でも、育児や仕事で時間の制約がある人々を含めた多様な意見が社会に発信できる新たな参加の形を提示した。

2024年に開催された個展「WRONG HERO」では、ジェンダーや社会的役割を問い直す複数の作品を発表。RPG形式でジェンダーロールと現実社会をリンクさせた作品や、アンリアルエンジンを用いた体験型作品、プロジェクションマッピングを活用したインスタレーションなどで構成された。プレイヤーは女性として言葉を受けながらも冒険を進め、社会に根付く価値観や構造を考える内容となっている。

藤嶋の作品は、美的な表現にとどまらず、社会的な問いやメッセージを含み、観客を体験者として巻き込みながら新しいアートの形を追求している。

Sacco Fujishima is an artist who explores expressions centered on art, games, and social issues. Her work blurs the boundaries between two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces, the physical and digital, and the organic and inorganic, presenting paintings and interactive digital pieces.

One of her notable projects is the "Virtual Protest." This initiative leverages the internet to gather and visualize diverse voices in real time. By highlighting movements like BLM and calls for the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics, Fujishima proposed a new form of participation, enabling individuals constrained by childcare or work to contribute their perspectives to society without gathering physically.

In her 2024 solo exhibition "WRONG HERO," Fujishima presented a series of works that reexamine gender roles and societal expectations — pieces connecting gender dynamics in RPGs with real-world structures, an immersive first-person experience created with Unreal Engine, and installations utilizing projection mapping.

Fujishima's work transcends aesthetic expression, embedding profound social questions and messages. By engaging the audience as active participants, she continues to push the boundaries of what art can be.
